Robert Emberton: The portion of fiber being referred to is called the backbone. Phase 1 includes 50 miles of backbone fiber which connects the substations back to the main office, which is where our headend is. Without the backbone, we wouldn't be able to connect our distribution fiber, and thus our members, to the Internet. We are building the backbone first so we'll be able to build and test the connections to the substation equipment while the distribution fiber is built to the homes.
